Welcome into the fold is a term that has, in its various variations, been around since the 1300s.

Originally it was meant to mean, to be included into the flock, as in a flock of sheep.

The blind followers of the, or perhaps A, god, who acts as their shepherd.

Though it could be said that religious leaders were the OG celebrities, who corrupted faith, and led their flocks astray.

Nowadays, its meaning has also come to mean to be include in an in-group.

Which - while fully acknowledging the irony of this fact - is the exact reason for this blog. But more about that in the future.

The content on this blog might consist of short posts, to essays, and ultimately a paper.

If psychology is the why of the self, then sociology might be considered the why of groups and anthropology the why of cultures and societies. Extending from that, if astronomy is the why of the universe, and physics is the why of the physical world, and mathematics is the why of numbers. The philosophy is the why of existence!

Our goal will always be to dive into the reason of why the system is the way that it is and to provoke critical thought surrounding the topic at hand.

The why of why are we in this shitshow.

As you can see, we are here to make bad jokes and smash coloniality and kyriarchy.
